Kent and Heather were amazing hosts! They were hospitable, kind, and communicative. You can just tell they love what they do, and they do it so well! The trip to get to the island was beautiful although we went after dark. The cabin and grounds were a little out of our comfort zones, but after 30 minutes, we were getting the hang of things. The island is beautiful and there are lots to do if you love nature and exploring. We paddled the way back and that was super fun as well! Will definitely be staying again and be bringing my dog next time 😊

I spent one night at the A-Frame with my sister for a brief but fabulous getaway. The care put into every aspect of this island is so clear. It is peaceful and beautiful; the hosts are so welcoming and thoughtful.
Kent's done an amazing job curating a unique yet accessible lake island destination. We appreciated his thoughtfulness and the bevy of activities available to those staying here.
Loved staying on the island! There were 4 of is in the A-frame and it was perfectly comfortable for us. We borrowed two canoes and paddled out to the island with our stuff which was also fun. Also very inspiring to talk with Kent and hear about how they built everything.
The island was beautiful and Kent was responsive & helpful with recommendations for Maine. We had a really great time!
Kent and Heather were wonderful hosts. They were spot on all we had to do was back clothes and food. It was a great weekend, a beautiful location and our dog had an amazing time too!
