Hammock Haven is tuned to Nature’s soundtrack — loons calling at dusk, water lapping beneath the dock, wind moving through the trees, and the occasional splash from someone giving in to the lake. From your island dome, you’ll fall asleep to these rhythms and wake as light skims across Annabessacook Lake. Days unfold to a steady beat: cooking simple meals, drifting in hammocks just above the water, paddling the shoreline, and wandering the wooded trails of our 14-acre island. No headphones required.

Cant say enough about this stay. One Big Sustainable Island is such a cool destination. Kent has every little detail covered and is very responsive. We brought our 2 kids and they loved every moment of it. Many Thanks Kent!
This was the best experience ever! Kent has such a creative mind and i feel lucky to have had the opportunity to do this. Hes very attentive and you can tell how much time and effort hes spent into making this a true Glamping experience. He has other properties on the island that are just as unique but maybe im biased, i think we definitely had the best one. Every night we stayed we laid on the hammock just to watch the sunset drying off from the lake which btw is crystal clear and warm but refreshing. Make sure to wear comfortable water shoes. I wore tevas and they were comfortable to walk around the island in then dip right into the water after working up a sweat. We brought floaties which was perfect because we walked to the far side of the island and let the water take us back to where we were staying, it was sort of like a lazy river. 10/10 loved every second, we felt so at peace those 4 nights. Thank you kent you’re an amazing host! We look forward to seeing your next project :)

The stay at the island was nothing short of perfect. The tent and the area around it were very well maintained and Kent assured we had everything we needed. We had lots of fun exploring the island, swimming, and unplugging. An amazing, short trip!

If I could give this 10 stars out of 5 I would. Kent couldn't have been any nicer. He gave extremely helpful and detailed information on what to bring and what not to bring and I'll tell you what, it's very on point. Pretty much clothes and food is all you'll need. Everyone should take the time to read that list And save yourself the over packing. We will definitely be staying there again many times to come!!
Had an absolutely magical time on the island and loved staying in hemlock haven. Cannot say enough good things about the stay! Highly recommend to anyone who gets the chance :)
