Pet-Friendly Island Dome on Lake w/Free Kayaks

1BSI is exactly as presented in the listing. Kent is so helpful and answered the questions I needed help with before I booked. Plenty of helpful instructions leading up to our arrival.<br/>Unlike normal camping, you don’t need to bring every little thing with you. Most necessities are provided, so one less thing to have to think about. Just bring your own food and drinks!<br/>Everything went smoothly and we enjoyed the calm environment. What a lovely place to stay!

I cannot say enough good things about 1BSI. It sounded great in the listing, and the communication leading up to our stay was clear, helpful, and entertaining in all the right ways. <br/>When we arrived, we found that Hammock Haven truly was like heaven, a dome on a hill on an island designed for the peaceful experience of nature. The entire stay felt seamless and the easy. That’s saying a lot for a camp-style stay on a small (big) island in a lake. We felt so cared for with all the systems that seemed to curate a comfortable stay, customized especially for us. <br/>Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer!

Island getaway with fantastic views on a huge lake. Peaceful, quiet place to unwind. Hosts Kent and Heather were knowledgeable and made me feel welcome. One of my all-time favorite getaways.<br/><br/>Nothing that I can think of.<br/>

I can now join the chorus singing the praises of this incredible stay. Kent has created a beautiful oasis where we could unplug and drink-in how long a day can really be. The dome was just as described and surprisingly not too stuffy. The loons were the stars of the show in June. thank you so much for your hospitality and for caring for such a special place and sharing it with us

We spent two nights at the Hemlock Haven dome on 1BSI with our dog and can’t wait to return! If you want an experience that has all the connection to nature and peacefulness of camping but want to sleep in a real bed and not have to haul a ton of gear with you, this is the place for you. Serene panoramic views of forest and lake from the clear side of the dome - a private dock - fresh clean bedding and towels - every necessary thing plus some extras thoughtfully supplied - and the best, most thorough communication I’ve ever experienced from an Airbnb host. This is a really unique, peaceful, fun place to stay. Highly recommended!!

Beautiful spot on a peaceful island. The sunsets from the deck are beautiful! The bed is very comfortable. Bring clothes and food and they provide everything else you need. I do recommend an extra battery-operated fan with extra batteries as the dome can get warm. (There is a fan provided but an extra may be a good idea during the hot months). My dog and I really enjoyed our stay!

I was clear that I could not make it at all it said refund were available but he ignored me , Even for a new date ! Sad
