Hammock Haven is tuned to Nature’s soundtrack — loons calling at dusk, water lapping beneath the dock, wind moving through the trees, and the occasional splash from someone giving in to the lake. From your island dome, you’ll fall asleep to these rhythms and wake as light skims across Annabessacook Lake. Days unfold to a steady beat: cooking simple meals, drifting in hammocks just above the water, paddling the shoreline, and wandering the wooded trails of our 14-acre island. No headphones required.

So it’s hard to describe our island visit but in one word - magical!<br/>Everything about this place is magical as it is a one of a kind escape and retreat that one only dreams about …. From the minute you park and unload your gear to the rejuvenated departure. All I can say is this place is very very beautiful and definitely worth the stay ! Special thanks to Kent and his team for ALWAYS being there and always smiling !

This is an amazing experience! The island is great and the views are amazing. There were other people staying in other spots on the island but it felt like we had the whole thing to ourselves. Kent and his crew are great. This is not for those looking for luxury, this is for those looking for a fun adventure in the woods. The dome is amazing, views of sunset amazing, loons everywhere.. and you our dog loved it too! We will be going back!

We had a wonderful time staying at hemlock haven. The dome looked right out onto the private dock below and had views of the trees and night sky above. Kent and Heather were really helpful and attentive both at check in and throughout the stay, messaging us to check in to make sure we had what we needed. We had such a lovely peaceful time, with everything we could’ve needed right at our fingertips. <br/>Initially we had booked to stay in the tent that was previously at hemlock haven but loved the dome for how secure and well comfortable it was. <br/>Would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Kent for everything we hope to be back in the future
Staying here was AMAZING. We were the first guests to stay in the dome. The views were wonderful and we were so connected with nature. Kent and Heather were the possible best hosts. We needed some Advil and they went out of their way to bring it to us by jetski!
The stay here was amazing. Everything was perfectly ready for you to stay and enjoy. My boyfriend and I really loved this area, and we will for sure be back. Kent was amazing at communicating and we always felt like we had help on standby. Thank you.

We brought our own motor boat easy to access from public launch. Live locally just brought truck trailer back home. Had our own private dock which was great! Site was clean and completely set up to relax! Even firepit had been prepped w wood! From silverware to fresh water of plenty, to bedding, med kit, bug spray, charged batteries for fan/ lantern. The shared outhouse was very clean as well. The only tweak I would suggest is to have extra toulet paper in holder in bathroom and have much bigger trashcan to put tp in after your done it gets full quickly and no one wants to touch others tp. Also the lid on toilet should stay open while you do your business bc it resting on your back is not ideal. Aside from that this stay was heavenly!! The loons and birds all around you and stunning views all around the island truly amazing! We will definitely be back!
