Pet-Friendly Island Dome on Lake w/Free Kayaks

the island is a beautiful and tranquil setting. couldn't have asked for a better experience and Kent was highly responsive and helpful.

10 stars! This is the best place I’ve ever stayed — every aspect was well above and beyond my expectations. The island is beautiful, peaceful, and Kent has pretty much everything you could imagine wanting or needing already there waiting for you. Just show up with your clothes and food because literally everything else is provided — there were even more amenities included than listed. Kent has really thought of everything and set it up to be incredibly easy, convenient, and sustainable. I was amazed how seamlessly everything seemed to stay stocked and clean and how quiet and private our area was. Kent was always super clear and quick to answer any questions too. My wife sprained her ankle and he was wonderfully kind and thoughtful about making accommodations for us and making sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay the whole time. I’ve never had a more smooth, simple, or enjoyable travel experience, or stayed with a host more prepared, genuinely nice, or funny.

Exactly as described on the website. Eco-friendly and dog-friendly. Best find ever, clean, cozy, got everything you need. The place is very private, peaceful, quiet even when there’s more people on the island you barely see them. Lots of things to do if you like water activities, beautiful spot for sunrise and sunset watching. Kent and Heather (1BSI Reset Crew) are the best example of Maine’s Hospitality, excellent customer service. We’ll definitely be back.

We had an amazing stay at Kent’s place! It is absolutely beautiful and so unique and magical! He has everything ready for you, just make sure you read his instructions, pay attention haha! <br/>Kent is really knowledgeable and fun to talk to!!

We had such a fun weekend staying on 1bsi…<br/>There is so much to do on the island we had so much fun. The sunsets overlooking the dock were perfect and so many places to take in the views and relax… We’ll be back next year !

Kent's place was probably the coolest airbnb we've ever stayed at! It was beautiful, clean, and we had so much fun! The dome is super unique, and our own private dock was awesome! Our pup really loved being able to wake up and immediately go swimming in the lake! We will definitely be back!

Bring your bug spray! But it was a great time. If you’re looking for a hot shower this isn’t the place for you, but if you just want some peaceful time in nature, don’t hesitate to book!! Absolutely beautiful, peaceful, quiet.

Our stay at Hemlock Haven was a truly peaceful retreat from the city and an ideal place to relax and reset. The sunsets over the lake, just across from the dock, were absolutely stunning. We enjoyed the kayak amenities, which made it easy to spend time on the water, and the dome offered a unique and memorable lodging experience. <br/>Everyone we encountered was welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable.<br/>Overall, Hemlock Haven exceeded our expectations, and we would gladly recommend it to anyone seeking a tranquil and restorative getaway.
