One of the best places I’ve ever stayed!
Kent and Heather have built something so beautiful with one big sustainable island. Every moment of our trip was wonderful from when we got on the ferry and got to meet the hosts, all the way through our stay. The island is extremely well equipped not to mention, breathtakingly beautiful and very peaceful. It’s so fun to share something that these host are obviously so passionate about and we loved every minute of our stay. We will definitely be back soon.
The island is so peaceful and everyone is kind. It was a great place to relax and recharge. We look forward to visiting again!
My husband and I had a wonderful little mini getaway to Loon Point tent overlook. We canoed, we sat in the water, we caught the beautiful sunset and the sunrise!<br/>The accommodations were great, sleeping was very comfortable and you can’t beat the view from the bed! I wish we would have stayed for a whole week. Kent thought of everything. This made our experience so easy, relaxing and so much fun.
I spent three nights at Loon Point with my sister and we had a wonderful time! Kent is friendly and attentive, and he genuinely enjoys sharing this beautiful place with everyone who stays there. We had everything we needed, from cooking supplies and clean water to warmth and comfort. We walked the island, took a swim, took some kayaks out, had a campfire every night, heard a glorious chorus of loons, spent lots of time in the hammocks, and had a peaceful, restful few days. I'm so glad I found this perfect place and I plan to come back every year. (I look forward to trying the other sites on the island too!) Thank you for making everything so easy!
This location is on an island! Very peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. Owners provide everything you need just bring your clothes and food. Owners are awesome! They are very friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you are having a great stay. They communicate very well prior to arrival so you know what to expect and are available if you need anything or have questions during your stay. They also have a great sense of humor! I enjoyed reading in the hammock near the shore and relaxing while listening to the loons. I would definitely stay there again and recommend this to others.

Kent and Heather are wonderful, accommodating hosts and this island is a unique and special place. My partner and I (and our two dogs) had the time of our lives and cannot wait to come back.
We had a lovely stay at Loon Lookout with our two pups, from the beautiful canoe out to the island as an adult bald eagle flew overhead, to swimming right off our beach with many loons, exploring the island, and the comfortable, clean and well stocked yurt. The stars were beautiful at night and we stayed warm by our campfire. Kent was a very kind host who offered many amenities and made it very easy to pack lightly and just relax.
