Our visit to the island was truly magical. Kent was great and was always available to answer our questions, provide ice for our cooler and a charger for our phone. We look forward to visiting again next year!

We found this gem of a place last year, and we came back this year for another long weekend of island life. Our dogs love running around the island and exploring; we, the dog parents, love hanging out at the beach, kayaking, cooking outdoors on the fire or just relaxing with a book out on the deck. This place is amazing, and we’ll be back again next summer!

10/10 would stay again and longer. This was a wonderful place to stay and relax. Kent has gone above and beyond to provide the most wonderful off grid experience. We still cannot believe how kind he is to share this island with so many people. His hard work and dedication to the island is inspiring. Do not miss out on this experience!

The Oaktagon and Big Sustainable Island was a wonderful place to relax and get away for a while. From the ferry ride with Kent and Sky to the Oaktagon built around Annie the Oak it was a truly unique experience. We had all the amenities we needed to comfortable while still feeling close to nature and having plenty of privacy. Our Beagle, Lucky, loved having a big gated deck so he could keep track of everything going on outside while still staying close.<br/>Kent was very thorough and prompt in all of his communication.

By far the most unique place I’ve stayed in, beautiful island on an amazing lake. The house alone is one of a kind. Kent is a great host and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed (which is rare now days). Already planning the next visit and recommending the place to all that are interested.

This was a magical place hosted by a lovely family. We got to meet Kent. He was our “go to” person while we were on the island. There was literally nothing we needed that was not already provided. A perfect get away to relax, enjoy and regroup.

This was the most adventurous of Airbnb stays yet! We started the trip by going aboard Kent's ferry and seeing his picturesque island. He helped us carry all our gear up to our Oaktagon Treehouse. I had never seen something quite like this tree house and likely will never see anything like it again. In the center of the house is a living red oak which tastefully grows right out of the roof. We were able to see some of the scenic hotspots (we recommend sunset rock). When we arrived, we realized we likely did not bring enough food for our stay. Kent went out of his way to ferry me back to the mainland where I was able to grab some grilling supplies from Hannaford's. He then ferried me back to our stay where we ate like kings! Many thanks to Kent for this 5 star experience!

We had an idyllic three day stay in the Oaktagon Treehouse. Everything was thoughtfully designed and Kent checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed (including fresh ice packs daily for our cooler). We loved listening to the loons on the lake at night, cooking on the grill and in the indoor kitchen, and paddling on the lake in the provided kayaks. We had an amazing and restorative time and hope to come back again in the future!
